Keynote Speakers

Three dynamic speakers, with links to both university and industry sectors, will be highlights of the IEEE RFID 2010 program:

Dr. Vivek Subramanian, a co-founder of Matrix Semiconductor, and Associate Professor EECS at University of California, Berkeley, will give the keynote address on Printed RFID Tags:  Technology Trends and Outlook at the Opening Plenary Session on Wednesday morning, April 14.

Dr. Kenneth R. Traub, an independent consultant specializing in software architecture and EPC/RFID standards, who was a founder and CTO of ConnecTerra, as well as founder/technical advisor to five high technology startups in the Boston area, will be the first featured speaker at the Day Two morning Plenary on RFID Networking, Standards, and Software a Decade Later:  Where Are We, Where Do We Go From Here?  Kenneth R. Dr. Matt Reynolds, the second featured speaker at the Day Two Plenary, is an Assistant Professor of ECE at Duke University, who, prior to returning to academia in 2007, was co-founder and CTO of ThingMagic Inc., a leading developer of UHF RFID systems.  He will speak on Beyond Identification:  Research Opportunities in Passive Sensing, Computing, and Communication.  Matthew Reynolds
